Two Essential Qatar Experiences. One Private Day.

Combine Doha Sightseeing & a Real Desert Safari in Around 7 Hours

This Doha City Tour & Desert Safari Combo is designed for travelers who want to see both the capital and Qatar’s southern desert without booking two separate tours. The city section focuses on the strongest first-visit highlights, while the desert section includes the classic 4x4 route to the Inland Sea.

The total experience is approximately 7 hours. A typical day allows around 2.5–3 hours for Doha sightseeing and about 4 hours for the desert safari, although the exact split and sequence can change according to pickup location, traffic, weather, sunset timing and operating conditions.

01

One Private Booking

City sightseeing and desert safari are arranged together instead of requiring two separate tour reservations.

02

Doha Highlights

See the Corniche, Souq Waqif, Katara and The Pearl without overloading the city portion with long museum visits.

03

4x4 Desert Safari

Experience dune bashing, sandboarding, desert scenery and the drive to Khor Al Adaid.

04

Flexible Pickup

Pickup and return can be arranged from Doha hotels/city locations, Hamad International Airport or Doha Cruise Terminal.

Why Choose the Combo?

See More of Qatar Without Using Two Separate Days

Doha and the southern desert offer completely different experiences. The city combines traditional markets, waterfront views and modern districts, while the desert brings high dunes, off-road driving and the Inland Sea near Qatar’s southern border.

Combining both into one private seven-hour tour is especially useful for short stays, first-time visitors and travelers who want a broad introduction to Qatar in a single booking.

01

One Booking

City and desert logistics are coordinated together from pickup to final drop-off.

02

Save a Day

Cover central Doha and the southern desert in one extended private experience.

03

Private Experience

Your confirmed group travels privately rather than joining a shared sightseeing coach or mixed desert group.

04

City to Desert

Move directly from Doha sightseeing toward the desert without returning to your hotel between separate tours.

Part One – Doha City

Essential Doha Highlights Before the Desert

The city portion stays compact and high-value so enough time remains for the full desert safari rather than spending the day inside ticketed attractions.

01

Doha Corniche & West Bay

See Doha Bay and the modern skyline along the waterfront before continuing into the city’s cultural districts.

02

Souq Waqif

Walk through Doha’s traditional market area and experience its lanes, shops and heritage atmosphere.

03

Katara Cultural Village

Visit Doha’s cultural district for architecture, arts surroundings and waterfront scenery.

04

The Pearl-Qatar

See the modern island development, marinas and waterfront neighborhoods before heading south.

05

Lusail If Time Allows

Lusail can be added when traffic, pickup point and the remaining seven-hour schedule make it practical.

06

No Forced Museum Entry

Museum interiors are not part of the standard package, helping protect time for both the city and desert portions.

Part Two – Desert Safari

4x4 Dune Bashing, Sandboarding & the Inland Sea

After the city portion, continue south toward the Sealine desert region for the classic Qatar desert safari route in a 4x4 vehicle.

01

Sealine Desert Gateway

Travel south toward the desert access area where the off-road safari portion begins.

02

4x4 Dune Bashing

Ride across the dunes with an experienced desert driver as part of the main safari experience.

03

Sandboarding

Try sandboarding at a suitable dune stop when weather and sand conditions allow.

04

Desert Photo Stops

Pause at scenic dune viewpoints for photographs and wide desert views.

05

Khor Al Adaid

Reach the Inland Sea, a protected natural landscape where the dunes meet tidal waters in southeast Qatar.

06

Camel + Falcon Optional

Add a short camel ride and falcon photo opportunity for USD 15 per person, subject to local availability.

Private 7-Hour Route

Doha City Tour & Desert Safari Combo Itinerary

This is a sample sequence. City-first is the standard structure, but the order can be changed when operationally practical — for example, to improve desert timing or work around traffic and sunset.

01

Private Pickup

Meet your driver at your confirmed Doha hotel/city location, Hamad International Airport, Doha Cruise Terminal or another agreed pickup point.

02

Doha Corniche & West Bay

Begin with Doha’s waterfront and skyline before entering the traditional and cultural districts.

03

Souq Waqif

Enjoy the main city walking stop in Doha’s traditional market district.

04

Katara & The Pearl-Qatar

Continue through Katara Cultural Village and The Pearl-Qatar, adding Lusail only when time permits.

05

Drive South to the Desert

Leave central Doha and continue toward the Sealine/Mesaieed desert gateway for the off-road section.

06

Dune Bashing & Sandboarding

Experience 4x4 dune driving, scenic desert stops and sandboarding at a suitable dune location.

07

Inland Sea & Private Return

Visit Khor Al Adaid before returning privately to your confirmed final drop-off point.

Khor Al Adaid – Inland Sea

A Protected Desert & Tidal Landscape in Southeast Qatar

Khor Al Adaid is one of the defining stops of Qatar’s southern desert route. The area is reached by 4x4 because there is no paved road all the way to the Inland Sea. Large dunes meet tidal waters close to Qatar’s southern border.

UNESCO STATUS
